We recommend that you take a bottle of water that can be closed, a notebook and a pen. You can also bring coloured pencils if you want. Usually you don't need anything else.
What happens if Chaos becomes our teacher?
Chaos in the streets, chaos at work, chaos in relationships, in our mind, body, chaos in chaos!
During this weekend we will discover the magic of the rhythm of chaos that will help melt the generation armor and reveal our essence, new possibilities and choices. We will cultivate positive and creative chaos to heal ourselves and our planet.
Dance workshop full of inspiration, sharing and playfulness, where the flexibility, mobility and strength of your body allow you to activate your innate life potential.
With Erik, you have a unique chance to explore your dance not only with the intuitive dancer but also with an experienced body therapist. As an enthusiastic student, Experiential Anatomy will help you notice your usual patterns of movement and create room for change.
Erik is a wise and wonderful facilitator of the practice of presence and embodied play. He is an internationally renowned teacher of the 5Rhythms Movement Meditation practice.
He completed his training in 5R with the founder, Gabrielle Roth, at the first training in 1988 which he co-founded. And has been leading classes and workshops around the world ever since. At the two most recent 5Rhythms teacher trainings he was on the faculty. He has taught people of all ages, and from all walks of life – from senior executives to teens in juvenile detention centers to 4th graders.
Erik is himself a gifted dancer and athlete, and brings his unique warmth, enthusiasm and playful spirit to his teaching. He is a master at creating a safe and fun space for exploration, discovery and learning with ease.
5Rhythms is a movement meditation practice devised by Gabrielle Roth in the late 1970s.It draws from indigenous and world traditions using tenets of shamanistic, ecstatic, mystical and eastern philosophy.
Map to everywhere we want to go—inner, outer,
forward, back, physical, emotional, intellectual—they reconnect us to the
wisdom of our bodies and unleash movement’s dynamic healing power.
Waves move in patterns. Patterns move in rhythms.
A human being is just that - energy, waves, patterns, rhythms.
Nothing more. Nothing less. A dance.
5Rhythms transcends dance—movement is the medicine, the meditation and the metaphor.
Together we peel back layers, lay our masks down, and dance till we disappear.

Frequently asked questions
It is convenient to wear lose and comfortable clothing in which you feel good. We recommend more layers, so that you can easily add or take off clothes for the time when you don't move. It could be useful to have a big scarf or blanket for sitting. We dance either barefoot or in soft dance shoes.
Hot water and tea will be available on the site - if you are not a fan of plastic cups, please bring your own mug with you. We don't have a good experience with nearby restaurants - it always takes a long time to get lunch for a big group and then it makes late arrival into the program. Therefore, we recommend that you have a light and easy to digest meal for the whole day. Also make sure to bring bottle of water and small snacks (biscuits, muesli bars, fruits, nuts etc.)
It is best to get to the tram stop "Strážní" (trams 9, 1 and 11), take "Strážní" street to the left to continue uphill. At the intersection of the streets "Strážní" and "Na Balkáně", on the right, you will see a small white building of DDM ULITA. It takes about 30 minutes to get there from the city center.
