Find your rhythm and the perfect wisdom of the body
In today’s world, we live mostly in our heads.
We perceive mainly through sight and hearing — and often to an overwhelming extent.
This workshop is an invitation to return to perceiving through the whole body.
To feel again. To become aware of your nervous system and connective tissue — the fascia that holds the body together, gives it shape, and opens a broader dimension of full-body awareness.
Starfish is a practice that supports the natural flow of energy and fluids in the body.
It helps you sense where movement flows freely — and where something feels stuck or restricted.
It is both an image and a direct experience.
A path that can deepen your relationship with your body, awaken sensitivity, and open new ways of perceiving movement from within.
When movement arises from the center, it naturally brings greater stability and a sense of safety.
Through the dynamic practice of 5Rhythms®, you will experience what it feels like to be immersed in different rhythms of being. You will explore the continuity of flow, the clarity of staccato, the release of chaos, the lightness of lyrical, and the tranquility of stillnesse.
For those already engaged in movement, dance, or somatic work, the workshop offers a deeper exploration of the connection between the nervous system and fascia as an integrated network that shapes both our perception and movement. This practice is rooted in principles supported by contemporary understanding of the body — including nervous system regulation, interoceptive awareness, and the dynamics of fluid and energetic flow.

Erik Iversen (CA)
“A near-death experience at the age of 28, followed by the joy of becoming a father for the first time, opened my eyes and set me on a new path. This transformative journey carried me from the structured world of professional hockey into the fluid, healing world of movement.
In 1989, I co-founded the first 5Rhythms teacher training. Since then, this practice has been my anchor. I am also a certified Hellerwork Structural Integration therapist. Through these paths, I weave together the freedom of dance and deep bodywork.”
“For more than 40 years, I have shared this integrative approach, guiding others to listen to their bodies and move with love and curiosity. Whether on the dance floor or in individual sessions, I am here to witness and celebrate each person’s unique rhythm, supporting healing through movement and touch.” — Erik Iversen
