What we fight grows stronger.

When we turn toward inner conflict with awareness and compassion, it can become a new source of strength, wisdom and support.

Feeding Your Demons was developed by Lama Tsultrim Allione as a contemporary and accessible form of a profound Tibetan practice. The method helps us work with fear, powerful emotions and recurring patterns so they no longer have to control or exhaust us. It teaches us to recognize what lies beneath them and transform blocked energy into greater inner freedom, clarity and support.

The training consists of three progressive modules. You can currently register for FYD I on its own or choose the better-value package of FYD I and FYD II.

Transformation begins when we stop rejecting parts of ourselves

A “demon” can be a fear, a powerful emotion, a recurring reaction or an inner conflict. When we listen to what this part of us truly needs, its energy can transform into an ally.

How Feeding Your Demons Works in Five Steps

The method brings together the body, emotions, imagination and direct experience. Rather than analyzing a problem from the outside, it leads us into a direct encounter with what is arising within us.

  • 1. Find the demon in your body – choose a specific issue and notice where and how it manifests in the body.
  • 2. Personify the demon and ask what it needs – give the physical sensation a form and ask it the essential questions.
  • 3. Become the demon – shift perspective and answer from the demon’s point of view.
  • 4. Feed the demon and meet the ally – offer it what it truly needs and allow its energy to transform.
  • 5. Rest in open awareness – remain for a while without further effort and allow the experience to settle.

Deep Buddhist Roots, a Contemporary and Accessible Method

Feeding Your Demons is rooted in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Lama Tsultrim Allione developed the method so that it is accessible even to people with no previous experience of Buddhism or meditation.

Your own wisdom The process helps reveal a source of strength and wisdom that is already present within you.
Prajnaparamita The training also includes meditation that supports resting in open awareness.
The role of the guide The guide holds the structure and a safe space so that the other person’s own process can unfold.

Lama Tsultrim Allione: Creator of Feeding Your Demons

In this video, Lama Tsultrim Allione introduces the central principle of Feeding Your Demons and its roots in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.

The training offers a complete path for learning the method while naturally building on direct contact with Lama Tsultrim Allione’s teachings. It translates those teachings into a concrete process for your own regular practice and, gradually, for guiding others.
1 Module FYD I

The Complete Process and Direct Experience

In FYD I you will learn the complete five-step process and begin working with it from the start, both with your own issues and while guiding each other in pairs.

You will also explore the Buddhist roots of the method and how demons manifest in the body, emotions, relationships and decision-making.

  • identify personal and ancestral demons,
  • explore patterns in which you lose energy,
  • experience both your own process and the role of the guide in paired practice,
  • explore the relationship between the demon, the ally and creative energy,
  • become familiar with Prajnaparamita meditation and its place within the process.
FYD I is complete and valuable on its own. Between FYD I and FYD II there is a period of home practice: 20 individual processes, 5 paired processes, brief written records and planting a tree or supporting the planting of one.
2 Module FYD II

Allies and the Wider Context

You begin guiding another person in paired practice already in FYD I. The second module deepens this experience and expands the work to include allies, broader groups of demons and maps of the relationships between them .

  • Body Map – the places in the body where individual demons appear.
  • Family Tree of Demons and Allies – difficult patterns as well as sources of wisdom passed down through generations.
  • Hydra Maps – connections between individual demons and their deeper roots.
  • Deeper work with allies – recognizing sources of support, strength and wisdom.

At the same time, you develop your ability to hold a safe structure for the process without giving advice or interpreting another person’s experience.

To participate in FYD II, you must have completed FYD I and the between-module practice described above.
3 Module FYD III

Certification and Completion

FYD III focuses on situations that may arise unexpectedly during your own process or while guiding others. It develops greater confidence, flexibility and the ability to maintain a safe space.

For therapists and other professionals who wish to use the method with clients, certification is required. The module is equally valuable for people who want to complete the full training for themselves and deepen their understanding of the method.

Registration for FYD III will open later. Dates, price and further requirements will be published once they are confirmed.

The demon is not the enemy.

It is energy connected with a part of our experience that needs to be heard. When we stop fighting it, it can transform into strength, wisdom and support.

Who the Training Is For

Direct personal experience is always the foundation. You can choose how far to continue through the training according to how deeply you want to explore the method and how you intend to use it.

For Your Own Practice

The training is for people who want to better understand their fears, powerful emotions and recurring patterns. FYD I already contains the complete process; the later modules broaden its possibilities, and many people complete the full training primarily for their own practice and development.

For Therapists and Helping Professionals

The training is also intended for therapists, coaches, psychologists, social workers, spiritual guides and others who wish to integrate the method into their professional work. To use Feeding Your Demons with clients, you need to complete FYD III and receive certification.
