Here you will find information about registration, payments and cancellations for seminars, workshops, individual sessions, therapies and online events organised by Maitrea. The main cancellation terms for in-person events are listed first.

Please let us know about your cancellation in writing at seminare@maitrea.cz. The date we receive your cancellation is the date that counts. All periods below are given in calendar days.
The cancellation terms also apply in cases of illness, family reasons and other unexpected circumstances. They apply whenever you are the one cancelling your participation.
You may transfer your place to another person. You are responsible for finding the replacement and letting Maitrea know in advance. The replacement participant must meet any entry requirements for the event.
For events held on a specific date or during a specific period, cancellations are governed by these cancellation terms. If different cancellation terms are shown for a particular event before booking, the terms stated for that event apply.
If one person cancels more than 30 calendar days before the event: we deduct the standard fee for one person from the special price paid and refund the remaining difference.
If one person cancels 30 calendar days or less before the event: we deduct the standard fee for one person from the special price paid and refund 50% of the remaining difference.
If both people cancel, the standard cancellation terms apply according to the event fee. If the fee for one person is over CZK 10,000, the terms for events over CZK 10,000 apply.
For cancellation purposes, a package of several events or modules is treated as one event. The start date of the first part of the package is the relevant date.
If you cancel on the day the event starts, during the event or after it has ended, the event fee is not refunded or transferred to another event.
If Maitrea cancels the event, we refund the event fee paid in full.
If the event date changes significantly, we will offer you a place on the new date or a refund of the event fee paid.
We recommend booking travel and accommodation with a cancellation or date-change option whenever possible.
Registration is made through the form on the website. Depending on the event, the fee is paid on site, in full in advance or as a deposit.
Once you submit the registration form, your reservation is binding. The event fee is paid on the day of the event, usually in cash or by card, depending on the payment options stated for the event.

The price and payment details are always stated for the specific event, in the registration form or in a follow-up email. Payment is considered complete once the relevant amount has been credited to Maitrea’s account.
If there is an obvious error in the stated price, we will contact you without undue delay and offer you the option to continue the booking at the correct price or cancel it.
For leisure-related events held on a specific date or during a specific period, consumers do not have the statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. For other contracts concluded at a distance, the right of withdrawal is governed by the applicable law.

We send the link and joining instructions by email after receiving payment and always before the online event begins. Participants are responsible for having a working internet connection and suitable technical equipment.
Without Maitrea’s prior consent, participants may not make or share any audio, video or other recording of the online event, nor share its content or information about other participants.
With prior notice, another person may attend in your place. You are responsible for finding the replacement. The same general rules as for in-person events apply to the special price for two people.
Maitrea is not responsible for problems caused by the participant’s internet connection or technical equipment. Such problems on their own do not entitle the participant to a refund.
If a recording is included, we usually send access within five working days after the event. The access period is stated for the specific event; unless stated otherwise, it is 14 days. Access is for the registered participant only.
Our events are not a substitute for medical or psychotherapeutic care. Participants are responsible for assessing their own physical and mental health and take part in the programme voluntarily.
Any relevant health conditions or limitations, ongoing treatment or circumstances that may affect safe participation should be discussed in advance with the organiser, the facilitator and, where appropriate, a healthcare professional.
Participants may not attend an event under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other intoxicating substances. If a participant has an infectious illness that could put others at risk, they should not attend an in-person event.
The facilitator’s instructions are suggestions. Participants should take their own abilities and limits into account and may stop an exercise or leave the programme at any time. If a participant chooses to leave the event, the event fee is not refunded.
The facilitator or organiser may refuse participation or ask a participant to leave if this is necessary for safety, the smooth running of the programme, a serious breach of the rules or a very late arrival. Any refund will depend on the specific reason and circumstances.
For participants under 18, Maitrea requires prior written consent from a parent or legal guardian unless stated otherwise for a specific event.
This section applies to recordings, video courses, e-books and other digital content sold separately on seminare.maitrea.cz.
Digital products are ordered through the online form and paid for by card or bank transfer, depending on the options shown in the order.
We send access details or a download link after receiving payment. For card payments, access is usually sent automatically; for bank transfers, we send it no later than three days after the payment has been credited.
Unless stated otherwise for the product, access to a recording or download link is provided for 12 months from the date of payment.
For a digital product sold separately, you may request a refund within 30 days of payment. Please send your request to seminare@maitrea.cz.
Access details, files and links are for the buyer’s personal use only. They may not be shared, published, copied or otherwise distributed without Maitrea’s consent.
We process personal data to the extent necessary to handle registration, payment and participation. More information is available in our Personal Data Processing Policy.
If a service or digital product does not match the agreed terms, please contact us at seminare@maitrea.cz. Complaints are handled in accordance with applicable law.
If a consumer dispute cannot be resolved directly with us, the consumer may contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), which is the competent body for out-of-court consumer dispute resolution. More information is available at coi.gov.cz/informace-o-adr/.
