Move in the Flow of Life

AND IT'S RIGHT HERE!

March 14–16, 2025
DDM Ulita, Prague 3

Fri: 7pm-9:30pm | Sat: 11am-6pm | Sun: 11am-5pm

After 3 years we will move and express ourselves to the 5Rhythms together again in the spaceous venue! Look forward to the playful wisdom and great musical style of world renowned 5Rhythms teacher Erik Iversen (CA). We'll have an energetic weekend with a bunch of wonderful people, get our bodies moving, and indulge in some quiet moments of truly meeting ourselves.

How often do you focus your attention on different screens and digital devices?
Do you know that by doing so, you lose the natural connection to your body, your breath and the magic of the present moment?

This workshop will be about dance, conscious walking and the joy of free movement. We will explore where the flow of our attention goes and tune into the changing rhythms of our breath. You will leave with a "new" sense of presence in your body that can be further cultivated to enrich your relationship with yourself and the world around you.

Erik Iversen

Gracefulness of movement, calm mind and wisdom of body in playfulness
- this is what Erik Iversen lives and passes on to others.

A near-death experience at 28, followed by the joy of first-time fatherhood, opened my eyes and set me in a new direction. This transformational journey has taken me from the structured world of professional hockey to fluid, healing movements.

In 1989, I co-founded the first 5Rhythms teacher training. This practice has been my anchor ever since. I am a certified Hellerwork Structural Integration therapist. Through these directions, I connect the freedom of dance and the deep work of the body.

For over 40 years, I have shared this harmonious approach and lead others to listen to their bodies and move with love and curiosity. Whether on the dance floor or in individual sessions, I am here to witness and celebrate each person's unique rhythm to promote healing through movement and touch.

FAQ

What to bring?

We recommend you bring a resealable drinking bottle, a notebook and pencil are always useful, you can also bring crayons. You usually don't need anything else for the seminars.

What kind of clothing?

Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that makes you feel comfortable is appropriate. Multiple layers are recommended so that you can change into dry clothes or undress. A scarf/shawl/blanket for sitting could also be useful. We will dance barefoot or in soft dance shoes.

Are there refreshments on site? Will there be a lunch together?

Hot water and hot tea will be available on site - bring your own mug if you're not a fan of plastic cups. We have not had a good experience with restaurants in the area from previous years. Serving food to large groups always takes a long time, often causing late arrivals to the program. Therefore, we recommend bringing a light, easily digestible meal for the day. Also be sure to bring a water bottle and small snacks (granola bars, flapjacks, fruit, nuts, etc.).

How do I get to DDM Ulita?

The best way is to get off at the "Strážní" tram stop (trams 9, 1 and 11), follow Strážní Street to the left uphill. At the intersection with Na Balkáně Street you will see a small white building of the ULITA DDM on the right. From the city centre the whole route takes about 30 minutes.

Where to park?

Parking is more difficult because there is a blue resident zone nearby. You can park for a fee in the purple or orange zone, following the instructions on the road signs.
